BARP, flew p2p, then clung to wall twice before being netted. Bitey in hand. Baby flat fly in ear. Sprayed bird with Bronco. NOLO. Moved to R6, bird flew to leaning perch. Check ears for parasites next grab, spray with Bronco as needed.

Lack of pattern lateral/caudal. Harsh bright white "squiggles" medial to pecten. Pupil is misshapen, more like an oval rather than perfect circle.
Left eye:
Large hole or air bubble (?) along the lateral edge of the retina at 4 o' clock. 9 o' clock to pecten is a vertical line of peppering, maybe old debris. Lack of pattern cranial.

Owl flew back and forth twice - flew fairly well despite wing displacement, but seemed unable or unwilling to land on perches. Did fly from ground to perch as well once, but overall seemed a bit uncoordinated. Also, hit a wing on the green post in the middle of the hab once. I wonder if flight issues could be compounded by poor vision. For now continue to treat/ monitor as he has only been here a little over a week. Dr Gardner

BARP, slight R wing droop. NOLO. jumped around during grab attempts. Moved to larger space. When placed down, he seems hesitant to fly and does not get much air, tends to arc to the left. Unable to get to perch while we were in enclosure, kept clinging to wall or colliding with support beams and landing. Grabbed one more time to evaluate flapping - while in hand both wings seem to flap symmetrically, but hard to evaluate when on ground. Primaries sit more dorsally than secondaries. Staff recheck tomorrow.

Pupil misshapen, 'dragged' lateral-dorsal. PLR incomplete and affected by synechia. PC is hazy orange, soupy, widespread floating debris. Black peppery scarring dorsally, web-like black scarring very lateral. Can't see well through haze.
Left eye:
Floating debris, sm pit scars cranially. Vertical line of black pepper scarring medial to pecten. Two larger pit/bubbly scars further medial. Large abnormality on far lateral side - very bright with black striations, appears bubbled up from retina.

BARP, clacking and bitey in hand. Anesthetized under 1% iso for intake rads - when initially induced, bird stopped breathing. Turned off and RR picked back up, then put on light. R ulula is at an odd angle, and humerus is also deformed. Bird gets good extension, but in the box, wing was slightly drooped. Recovery was uneventful. NOLO. Moved outside.

Standing at door of kennel, staring. Not responsive to my movements, head never turned to follow my hands or myself as I moved from left to right. Clacking every now and then, mostly in response to sound, than vision, from what I gathered. Did not eat breakfast, 2 m. Put meds in food.

Right wing is concerning. The healed fracture has a sharp area on the distal aspect. The distal wing curves laterally and the alula sticks up oddly. Make sure that radiographs include a skyline view.

Eyes have wide-spread damage but given species worth giving some time - as long as wing is not too displaced. Might be worth putting in a larger habitat to see how/ if she uses the wing. We have to assume she has been flying, although she is thin so it is unclear how well she has been doing overall. Dr Gardner
